Quinn Plastics has been built up over 30 years through a series of acquisitions and developments. As a division of Quinn Group it has followed the group philosophy of ‘Strength through Diversity’ by establishing itself as a market leader in plastic sheet extrusion. Quinn Plastic’s strength is our range of products from the established products such as acrylics and polystyrene to the more complex engineering polymers such as polycarbonate.
The applications of our products range from simple picture framing through to complex construction projects, such as sound barrier walls, involving detailed calculations and material specifications. Sheet materials are offered with a smooth, glass like appearance or with attractive patterns suitable for use in sanitary ware applications. We extrude multi-walls sheets, making them suitable for use in roofing applications where low weight coupled with high strength is paramount. Thin sheets of polyester are ideal for printing and forming into such vitally important equipment as safety helmets, whilst our cast acrylic sheet can be offered in blocks, making them able to withstand the enormous pressures found at hundreds of metres beneath the sea, when used on submersibles.

We are proud of our commitment to the environment and are able to reuse over 95% of waste in the production process and the remainder we recycle into commercial grade packaging material.
The Future
As demand for alternative plastics products and the uses of plastic sheet develops, Quinn Plastics is committed to moving forward by investing further in the most up to date technology. We are currently in an exciting phase of moving to a more intergrated process for our acrylic family through the development of Quinn Chemicals, a MMA plant in Leuna, Germany. The plant will incorporate the most modern technologies in all aspects of the production equipment and automation and control systems.
